On Saturday we invited my parents to come up for Zoo Lights (along with everyone else in the Portland and surrounding areas). It was extremely crowded but we braved the lines, shuttles, and cold and the kids did really well. The lights were pretty but Alivia just wanted to know where all the animals were. Most were sleeping but we saw a few monkeys, cats, and a turtle. The kids didn't get to bed until about 9:30 and we didn't eat dinner until 9:45. Thanks mom and dad for joining us and sorry for the late night!
